Just some painting to do and all done, a bit of carpentry required to fit the rectangle PVC between the decking joist.
Out to visit Chook and TJ. We installed the signage whilst they weren't watching, and them had a reason to go to town with the return signage surprise. TJ can now add her artistic touches!

African Daisy -eradication
Yep! day out with Friends of Parks to dig up the offending African Daisies, we removed over 200
Contacted Duncan for the car port decking and roof tie in - able to do within a current work window - Alas the timber took 3 weeks to be delivered, thus delayed the project with other contracts etc. A total of 2 months to complete. Meanwhile I had to get my drainage system in place. I came in from our camp site to get it in place, did not need to worry due to the delayed delivery of the timber - Mitre 10

Starting work on the car port tie-in - remove the iron
Flex pipe used for drainage - 4mtr stretch to 16 metres only 2 sections required and no elbow's, connectors and or glue required

Lee's property, once I found the limestone, it was easy digging to the storm water pipe approx 600mm deep, and still relatively soft after 30+ years - our storm water tie-in to his piping

Our morning walk found this on the road, it fired up but died. Linden and family arriving later in the day - they will have an iPhone charger - yep! all charged with the above results. Able to make out the last caller - whom happened to be his Mum, thus called and they came around later to get his demolished phone at least the chip/sim still works. 21st Birthday party got out of hand and roaming the streets it seems.

We no sooner arrived home from DK Quarries and this fellow turned up with 2 ton's of crusher fines. I had no idea how much 2 tons was until I moved it twice, once to the holding pit, then as I used it - didn't go very far, but it covered what needed to be done this time around!!

Progress is been made, with the assistance of my technical adviser - Nev, 50+ year veteran of SA Water. After doing the calculations of a meter section it was determined I had enough paver's to use a two brick/paver's as apposed to one as per my initial intention. Paver's previously salvaged from the block where the rain water tanks now stands

Plumber called into connect the storm water - tricky sleeve available, with no hi-tech cutter required - just a plain old wood saw
55 minutes later - all done, that included drive time to and from hardware store to get fittings required - I would still be stuffing around hours later.
At last some action happening on the roof tie-in - again delays with the steel required and Duncan's work schedule.
