My routine.
Contacted the local hospital ref. Pre-Hab, no we only do REHAB! We will get a referral from RAH cardiac clinic post op. to join the REHAB classes. Too late, will do my own Pre and Rehab!
Yes, we had one of the trainers explain and put us thru our pacers on these machine
Our Gym and treadmill view- which we often had to ourselves
No sooner returned from the CT scan and off for the 3 x CABG
Sue's not going hungry, our apartment next at Miller
Should be comfortable for the duration and walking distance - 1.7k's to Royal Adelaide Hospital, or the tram door to door service.
Point of no return
Looks like we a good to proceed
My annual step record
ICU - Details of my procedure
Sue got the only decent meal it seems - Corned beef with white sauce
I survived and get a cuppa tea
Breakfast not to bad, at least the porridge was hot
The less said about the food the better, along with some of the so called nursing staff.
Cardiac ward - checkout the SUGAR content!
What's this BERRI - imported ingredients!
Beauty - snags and mash - Alas the SALT content enough to brine a ham!
Sue's additions to the porridge - fantastic
Six days and we walk out of hospital - literally - needed the exercise 1.7k's to our apartment. Medication and travel certificate in hand. Over night booked our return flights home - day 7, Sue's can't pack quick enough - meanwhile I had to clean up___
Yep! this is how I was discharged - requested a suture removal pack, cladly provided - less for the nursing staff to do!!
Say no MORE!!
Alas not heading Internationally for some time yet!
Great to be HOME!
