August - Far West Coast - Scotts Beach

How's this - 4 months post op. and on the road, with the sand hills for extra cardio work outs

Yes! we had 15mm of rain

Drying out

Yes! we did land some fish up the cliff. Beach fishing was limited due to the wind and weed.

Those spines are sharp - don't touch

One more rock!

As you probably notice we had the beaches and cliffs all to ourselves, the occasional day tourist drive through.
Packed and all good with increasing fitness after the 9 days up and down the sandhills - heading north to King Ash Bay to check out our SHED.
Got the heart pumping

Short cut from Wirrulla to Kingoonya

  • Wirrulla, SAKingoonya, SA

  • Wirrulla is a small town about 100 km east of Ceduna on the west coast of South Australia and Kingoonya is 255 km to the north. The shortcut from Wirrulla to Kingoonya is along a desert track that winds through some of the most beautiful Australian outback scenery you could hope to see. For a short track, the scenery is amazingly diverse. Taking this track shaves just under 700 km of the trip going via Port Augusta.
