March - 2021

 It's Blue Swimmer Crab season

Bees had taken over the Mill Cottage museum

Photo at the museum Uncle Kevin was a band member

Ready for King Ash Bay - however

View from our YMCA gym - safely landed

Flame / heat tube from our Webasto diesel heater in our caravan. Literally burnt it out we got to so hot!

New Webasto
Tricky holding clips - even the technician had issue's with them when he first encountered

Fuel line remains the same with a new pump installed
Much quieter

Ready to button up and test

House block below our house and block

Mavis Casey aged 94 - one of Mum's great mates
Mavis and Mum went to the same china painting classes and I have Mums same plate.
Troopy rear camera wiring sorted and solder
12volt van fan as a portable table fan - only pulls 1.5amps
Emergency beckon parts to be recycled
All stainless steel screws - come in handy one day!

Cord and batteries will also come in handy
Whilst sorting out the rear camera - main power cable to the towing plug fractured

shrinked
Soldered and heat sealed

Ready for the crabs

Alas only a taste

Port Lincoln History Group tour of Boston Island

Landing very well organized

Even for the go fast red walking frame of Barb Chambers

We get to travel around the island in style
History goes way back, but has always had an issue with water supply and the mission relocated to Poonindie

Yep! it's squeaky beach, testing it out with the TWIST

Time on their hands

Shearing shed still productive

Homestead
Water collection soaks - pumped to tanks across the island

Peter and Hughy Davies see us off - great tour

Trudge's mate Barb Chambers
Progress on the house block in front of our place
Our Puckridge Park BEAR!
The 190 liter fridge is being replaced with a 230 liter one, which fits into the same cavity - mm perfect.
The crabs are running in Proper Bay
Another History group outing - to tie in with the Boston Island tour - mission relocated to Poonidie.
Previously had a cellar

Cooking oven in more recent times
Impressive stone work

New home made mud flaps
Descaling and slime removal of our King George Whiting - adds 2% weight loss with 50% overall yield loss on filleting

The old fridge is out and TV bracket bolts to be trimmed to fit the new fridge
Mud flap installed
Installed a 12v computer fan to draw out the heat from behind the fridge - works well
The van travels on these pillow blocks
Supplies for King Ash Bay - but!!
Insulations behind the fridge - every bit helps

Repairs to our new van wind skirt - rivets only not going to hold, required a washer.
New annex wall - only took 2 months to get manufactured as they are being over whelmed with orders - Covid - 19 international travel  restrictions - travel locally = new vans.

Yes! we are at the airport heading to Adelaide.
It's 427 days since we have been on a plane - Covid-19

All the way from Singapore
Todd River
Boston Bay and Point Boston
Now you can really see the size of Boston and Proper Bay.
Yep! that's my step record for one year
In Adelaide for all the wrong reasons, or perhaps the right reasons to checkout my 'Left Arm' ache issue and hopefully a couple of 'STENTS' and good to go_____

During the Cardiac CT scan it became evident I would need a open heart surgery and a cardiac triple bypass -  or Coronary Artery
By-Pass Graph - CABG.

No King Ash Bay this year!!
