A quiet and relaxing time whilst in Thailand, and eating heaps of Thai FOOD! Along with all the tropical fruits, and Sue even found some out of season 'Durian'.
A few Thailand photo's of interest follows.
Only in Thailand!
Yes, this is the actual name of a retail clothing shop, we cater to all, no matter what your preference.
Here's why we do not fish in Thailand - fish traps by the thousands cover the water ways, gulf of Siam and Andaman sea. Plus all the other fishing nets and staked traps. Which we refer to it as Square Hook fishing!
Down town Chook rice restaurant and take away - Interesting decor to scroll thru.
Now this is take-away in bulk, already had 50 packets done - Chook to be added to this lot!
Our local Mini SERVO!
Minimum purchase Baht 10 = 50 cents.
Yes, we have our bases covered. Off to Phuket in-transit for a few days with Sue's daughter.
Now this is what you call a welcoming hotel room.

The 'Glam Habitat' is a high end boutique hotel / villas with self contained kitchens, with 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms available. Check it out at Glam Habitat
Sue and Farn - just checked in!
Wow! it's palatial to say the least.
Next stop - after an uneventful flight and no Covid-19 checks on arrival we are home in Port Lincoln and ______
Tropical rain - within an hour or so of arriving home we had a deluge, tropical monsoonal rain with 25+mm in an hour and another 25mm over the next 2 hours.FJ getting a rinse, and gutters over flowing
Force of the deluge popped the tanks lid.
Checking out my front gate project - neighbours fence post footings, hinge side unable to use expansion bolts.
Latch side = tree roots to be cut out. PVC is our storm water pipe.
4 x 20kg of quick setting cement did the trick, with hinge side bolted to our adjoining fence post.

Our Grand Parents farm at Verran, now owned by our cousin.

How many does it take to install a water meter - seems heaps.
New copper pipe tapped into the mains supply. Not sure where or what the 2 existing copper pipes were for or who they belong to.
